What is Church/Plant? 

Church/Plant is a new way of being the church outside the walls of Willistown UMC. 

Structurally, we grow delicious produce for our neighbors in need through 15 raised garden beds. 

Spiritually, Church/Plant returns to the roots of our calling as Christian people in partnership with God’s gift of creation. 

Relationally, we aim to build community through giving, worshipping, and working on the land.

Church/Plant was a vision presented in June 2023, discerned by the congregation over several months, and approved by Willistown UMC membership by an 80% approval on September 24, 2023.
