What is Church/Plant?
Church/Plant is a new way of being the church outside the walls of Willistown UMC.
We grow delicious produce for our neighbors in need.
We grow spiritual in connection with God’s great gift of creation.
We grow in community as we work with friends and neighbors.
Church/Plant was a vision presented in June 2023, discerned by the congregation over several months, and approved by Willistown UMC membership with outstanding approval on September 24, 2023.
In the midst of our first growing season, we are always eager to share the great things we’re doing together!

Our Dedication Service
Church/Plant was dedicated on Sunday, May 19th, which also was the “birthday of the church” Christians know as Pentecost. Alongside friends and members of Willistown UMC, many of our community members honored the first steps of this new venture with singing, reflection, and honoring all the gifts God has given us.
